Summit Academy Adventures offers Adventure Programs for corporations, non-profits, educational institutions, and youth/teens. Adventure Programs are rooted in experiential education and use scientifically researched approaches on how being in nature, camping, and hiking builds stronger leaders. We believe that the setting, the activities, the facilitator, the people, and the experience itself become the teacher. We move adventurers from their comfort zones into the great outdoors to maximize their skills and reach their full potential. Programs focus on team building and leadership development in the great outdoors. Each adventure is customizable to your needs–through measurable outcomes, team evaluation, themes and objectives. Our Story
Summit Academy Adventures was created to embolden the values of leadership, team building, and adventure. Through extensive research, we have created ways to connect experiential learning with professional and personal development. Our Adventure Programs are implemented in outdoor environments, connecting all who participate with the natural elements of nature. This new environment allows participants to break from their every day and achieve success in an exciting, low-stress way. Incorporating survival skills, guided hiking adventures, and outdoor games with colleagues, friends or family fosters growth and stronger bonds.
Our founder, Sam Aranson, an avid nature enthusiast, studied outdoor education and received a Master’s degree in education. Through his work both in and out of the classroom he became attuned to the value of experiential learning, and the benefits it has for all types of lifelong learners.
Summit Academy Adventures is here to guide those in schools, companies, or nonprofits out from behind the computer screens away from the digital world and into nature.
